1. What Tabadol is
An app for swapping and giving away items between people in one city. Tabadol sells nothing and takes no payment; any money agreed between users is handed over outside the app.
2. What we collect and why

We do not collect your precise location (GPS), your contacts, or any payment data. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising tools, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Camera and photos: the app opens your camera or your photo gallery only when you tap «Take a photo» or «From gallery» while adding or editing an item, and sees only the photo you pick. A photo is sent only when you add it to your item, and may be made smaller on your device first. The app has no access to your other photos.
On your device: the app stores the interface language, your settings, that you saw the welcome screens, and your sign-in session. These are not sent to anyone.
3. Where data is stored and who processes it
Data and photos are stored with our infrastructure provider Supabase (database, storage, sign-in), in a data centre in India (Mumbai). Confirmation and password-reset emails are sent via Resend from no-reply@tabadolapp.com. We share data with no one else unless the law requires it.
Transfer outside the State of Qatar: the data centre above and the email provider are outside Qatar, so your data is transferred to them only to run the service, in line with Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy. By using the app you are informed of this transfer; you can object by deleting your account (section 5).
4. Retention
- While your account exists, we keep your data.
- A deleted item disappears for everyone and its photos are deleted; its record stays attached to past offers only.
- Reports and the review log: kept for two years to follow repeated breaches, then deleted. If you delete your account, a report you sent stays without your name.

5. Deleting your account
Delete your account in Settings → Delete account, on the page https://tabadolapp.com/delete-account, or by writing to support@tabadolapp.com (done within 30 days). On deletion:
- Deleted for good: your email and password, real name, phone number and zone, item photos, your wishes, and open gift interests.
- Ended automatically: your open offers; your items are deleted (they disappear for everyone).
- Kept without your identity: completed deals and their ratings, with your name replaced by «Deleted user» — they are part of the other party's history and rating.
- An accepted deal that is not completed is cancelled when you delete your account, even if you confirmed the handover: the other party's items become available again, and it is not counted as a completed deal or rated.
6. Your rights
Under the State of Qatar's personal data privacy law (Law No. 13 of 2016) you may: access your data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent. Most of this is in Settings (edit your details, delete your account); for anything else: support@tabadolapp.com — we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority in the State of Qatar.
7. Children
The app is for people aged 18 or over; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete an account we learn belongs to a minor.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS); every data access goes through permission rules in the server; your phone and real name are returned only to those entitled to see them (section 2).
9. Changes
We will tell you inside the app about any material change before it takes effect.
10. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, including Law No. 13 of 2016 on the Protection of Personal Data Privacy.
