Terms of Use — Tabadol

1. The service

Tabadol lets users list items to swap (with or without extra money) or give away, within one city. Tabadol is not a party to any swap or gift, does not verify items or users' identity, and neither receives nor transfers any money.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Give accurate details: your real name and a Qatari phone number that is yours.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done with your account.
  • Do not impersonate any person or organisation (including «Tabadol» or its support team).

3. Items

  • List only what you own and may dispose of, with honest photos and description and a reasonable estimated value.
  • Not allowed:
    • weapons and ammunition;
    • drugs, and all medicines and medical devices, including vitamins, food supplements and veterinary medicines (not only prescription ones);
    • alcohol and tobacco, e-cigarettes (vapes) and their supplies, and shisha (hookah) and its supplies;
    • pork products;
    • counterfeit or stolen goods, and counterfeit money;
    • pornographic content, and gambling equipment;
    • digital accounts (game, social media and other accounts), SIM cards, bank cards, and gift cards and vouchers (as good as money, and a common fraud);
    • items recalled for safety reasons, especially car seats and baby products;
    • live animals, and official documents;
    • content contrary to public morals or the laws of the State of Qatar, and anything whose trade is prohibited by law.
  • The app refuses, when you post, any item whose name or description names one of these outright, and says which word. What the words miss, reports catch (section 6).
  • Selling is not available in this version.

4. Offers and deals

  • An accepted offer reserves the items and shows each party the other's real name and phone number, to complete the swap outside the app.
  • A deal is completed when both parties confirm the handover; it can be cancelled before that («the deal didn't happen»), except by a party who already confirmed.
  • Any money agreed is handed over directly between the parties; Tabadol neither guarantees nor refunds it.

5. Gifts

  • «I'm interested» sends your name and phone number to the gift owner with your consent; the owner chooses freely and is not obliged to give the gift to anyone.
  • Asking for something in return for a gift is not allowed.

6. Safety

  • Meet in a public place, check the item before the handover, and never share financial details.
  • Not allowed: fraud; abusing, threatening or harassing any user; posting a fake gift (to collect phone numbers or otherwise); asking for money or data beyond what both sides agreed.
  • Report any item or user with «⋯» then «Report» in the app, or to support@tabadolapp.com. We review every report within 24 hours, and we never tell anyone who reported them.
  • An item reported by three different users is hidden automatically until we review it.
  • You can block any user: neither of you sees the other's items, no offer or question reaches you from them, and open offers between you end. They are not told. Unblock any time in Settings.

7. Content

You keep the rights to your photos and texts, and grant Tabadol a non-exclusive permission to show them within the service while they are listed. We may remove any content or suspend any account that breaks these terms or the law. A suspended account's items are hidden and it cannot post or make offers; it can still finish its accepted deals or delete the account.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided «as is». Tabadol is not responsible for the condition, value or accuracy of items, nor for users' conduct or disputes between them, to the extent the law allows.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar; the courts of the State of Qatar have jurisdiction.

10. Changes and termination

We may change these terms and will tell you inside the app before they take effect. You may delete your account at any time (Privacy Policy, section 5).
